Hello!
Welcome to my virtual kitchen for your entertainment and learning at home! Let me introduce myself; You can call me Chez. I’m a Red Seal Certified Chef and Alumni from Thompson Rivers University and have over 9 years of Culinary expertise under my belt. I am here to guide you and help expand your knowledge about the World of Culinary Arts.

As mentioned above, the purpose of this site is to help guide you in your current knowledge in the Culinary world while also expanding and adding to that knowledge. We’ll start by going over the basics that anyone interested in Culinary should know in order to get an understanding of what level of knowledge you’re at with Culinary and from there we will expand on that knowledge by introducing new tips, tricks, and techniques to guide you on your journey. You’ll be tested on your knowledge of Knife Safety, Knife Sharpening, and Practices, Different Cutting Techniques, as well as Introducing basic Culinary concepts that you may not have yet learned.

Culinary is both an art and a science. I want to guide each of my students to understand how Culinary can benefit their lives. Safety is a core principle in being able to master the Culinary world and I want to ensure that each student I teach, understands that in order to be successful, they also need to know the safety basics in the kitchen.
